Margherita Leoni Exhibit
Among all the treasures of the Renaissance in Florence we stumbled upon an exhibition of new paintings by a young artist from Bergamo, Margherita Leoni. She is currently showing her meticulous works of Brazilian plants at the Accademia Georgofili, which is in the Uffizi complex. The paintings are akin to scientific studies, and hold an austere beauty and tranquility. I plan on going back again before the exhibit closes on October 2nd.
